Peddi OTT: Netflix & Prime Video Vie With MASSIVE Offers For Ram Charan-Janhvi Kapoor's Actioner But..; Deets

Prime Video Vs. Netflix For Peddi Digital Rights? Following the exciting 'First Shot' glimpse drop of Ram Charan's mass sports-action drama written and directed by Buchi Babu, the stakes soared along with the expectations on Peddi. The movie which stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead showcased Ram Charan in a new avatar mouthing northern Andhra dialect and a rough makeover. Peddi is going to be released worldwide in multiple languages on March 27, on the occasion of the actor's 41st birthday next year. Peddi is a cricket-based film produced by Vriddhi Cinemas in association with Sukumar Writings and Mythri Movie Makers.

T-Series Secures Audio Rights
By shelling out really big bucks, which is again a record price for Audio (Rs 25 Crore), Peddi movie's music rights were bought by T-Series, Bollywood-based biggest music brand and production house. Netflix & Amazon Prime Video Compete For Digital Rights

Netflix OTT platform is always a frontrunner for the big-budgeted and star-studded films that are made in south. Peddi is no different. The movie's digital rights have become a matter of interest for both Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. While Netflix is already in the loop, Prime Video reportedly showed interest in securing the rights as Ram Charan-Sukumar's 'Rangasthalam' movie changed the game for the OTT platform. However, Ram Charan is keen on going ahead with Netflix given its global reach and image, say reports.

The movie stars Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Dayanand Reddy, Jagapathi Babu, Upendra Limaye, Krithi Shetty, Nitish Nirmal, Satya, John Vijay, Chammak Chandra, and Prudhvi Raj Palaparthi among others in key roles.

This hyped raw and rustic actioner has its entire music and background score by the legendary AR Rahman. Venkata Satish Kilaru is producing the movie under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner in association with Sukumar's Sukumar Writings and Mythri Movie Makers. R Rathnavelu is working as the cinematographer and Kolla Avinash is the Production Head. Navin Nooli and Antony L. Ruben are editing the movie.
