Peddi Release Update: Ram Charan-Janhvi Kapoor Action Film's Glimpse To Reveal Theatrical Debut Date

Peddi First Shot Teaser Glimpse & Release Date: Ram Charan's upcoming action entertainer Peddi, written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana is gearing up with a massive drop for the mega fans very soon. The Janhvi Kapoor-starrer entertainer has been trending online across the entertainment portals after the fierce first-look of 'RRR' actor was revealed on the occasion of his birthday recently. The teaser glimpse called 'First Shot' is coming out on April 6, adding to the excitement. In addition to the teaser, there is also an interesting update about the film's theatrical release date.

Announcing the film's title and revealing the first-look poster of Ram Charan from the sports-based action drama Peddi, the makers of the film wrote, "Peddi, Like A Man of Land and Force of Nature." The movie marks Janhvi Kapoor's second and consecutive film in Tollywood after her grand but disappointing debut with Jr NTR-Koratala Siva's 'Devara Part 1.'

Peddi's Tentative Release Date

There is a high chance for the buzz about the theatrical date reveal to become a reality, but the insiders of Tollywood who earlier suggested that Peddi will hit the screens for Sankranthi 2026 in January are now discussing March 26 as the theatrical release date of Ram Charan's film.

Given the mega power star Ram Charan's recent disastrous outing for Sankranthi with Shankar's 'Game Changer' movie, the actor, his team of fans, friends, and family are rooting for Peddi in which he will be seen playing a rugged village man. The movie deals with Cricket and Shiva Rajkumar will be seen in a key role as a coach. For getting into the character of Peddi, Ram Charan flew to Australia for a month to exclusively work on his regimen under the supervision of a popular celebrity physician.

Peddi's Record Business For Music Rights

Music Meastro, legendary and Oscar Award-winning AR Rahman was brought onboard by Buchi Babu Sana, who has a distinctive taste in music. His debut film 'Uppena' was a musical blockbuster first even before the movie hit the screens. For this pan-India film which carries mega hype and sky-high expectations, the director is ensuring to leave no stone unturned. AR Rahman's music is expected to take the movie's score and level to a new height, coupled with the popularity of the other technical team along with the stardom of Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor. In the latest update, it has been reported that the audio (entire music) rights of the Peddi movie are secured for a record-breaking amount of Rs 25 Crore by leading Bollywood Production house T-Series.

First Shot (Teaser) On April 6 While it was expected the filmmakers to drop the teaser of the Peddi movie on the actor's birthday, they officially announced the 'First Shot' on April 6, coinciding with the Sri Rama Navami festival. Going by the insider information, a particular shot in the teaser has an outstanding value where fans will pause and rewatch it 1000 times, said one of the presenters of the film. The makers are planning to bring Peddi movie to the big screens for Sankranthi 2026.
