Director Maruthi, who is making The Raja Saab, later informed followers that Prabhas is fine and not in danger.

Prabhas has travelled to Japan to promote Baahubali: The Epic, linked to the tenth-anniversary celebrations of the Baahubali franchise. Director SS Rajamouli has overseen a remastered and re-edited cut. The team has merged Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion into a single film, planned for special screenings in markets including Tokyo.

Even as Prabhas visits Japan, speculation about The Raja Saab release date has grown online. Some posts claimed the film might move from its planned 2026 slot. The team has asked fans to "ignore all the rumours." Producers earlier underlined that the theatrical rollout remains fixed, despite the chatter.

The official note issued on 4 November addressed the matter directly. It stated, "In response to the ongoing speculation surrounding the release plans of Rebel Star Prabhas' upcoming magnum opus The Raja Saab, the team wishes to clarify that all such rumours regarding a postponement from Sankranthi 2026 are entirely baseless. The Raja Saab will hit theatres worldwide on January 9th, 2026 as officially announced. The post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace, maintaining the highest technical standards without any delay."

The Raja Saab features Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Ridhi Kumar opposite Prabhas in lead roles. While the film continues post-production, Prabhas is focusing on Baahubali: The Epic events in Japan.
