The official announcement about the highly discussed collaboration between the Pushpa actor Allu Arjun and Atlee Kumar is due in a couple more days. The mega project worth Rs 500 Crore, funded by Kalanithi Maran of the Sun Pictures banner, is trending big time for crazy updates and speculation.

Priyanka Chopra is making her comeback to Tollywood with superstar Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli's mega-budget film referred to as SSMB 29. The actor has been enjoying her time on the sets working with the director and his team according to her social media updates. She is getting paid a bomb for the Rs 1000 Crore film and is now also in talks for Atlee-Allu Arjun's film. She had earlier worked with Ram Charan for a Telugu-Hindi bilingual film titled 'Zanjeer.'

As the buzz around Priyanka Chopra's inclusion in the project surfaced, fans of Allu Arjun have started responding with mixed reactions. The filmmakers are going global in terms of scale, casting, and production standards and are roping in stars with brand value. However, until the official confirmation is out from team A6 (Atlee 6) or AA 22, nothing is confirmed.

The collaboration carries the highest level of excitement and with the previous track record of Allu Arjun and Atlee, (Pushpa 2 The Rule and Jawan), the anticipation grew manifold. In addition, the Sun Pictures banner, which is on a roll with Jailer 2 and Coolie, is backing the project.

After Atlee's supposed project with Salman Khan got shelved, the director's discussions with Allu Arjun also failed due to Atlee's demanding remuneration of Rs 100 Crore. Now, with Sun Pictures banner coming into the picture, the project finally is going on the sets. The actor returned from Dubai after a body rejuvenation session and met up with Atlee and Kalanithi Maran in Chennai on April 4. The official announcement is likely to come out on April 8, on the actor's birthday.
