Pushpa 2 Establishes Record In Nizam: Allu Arjun's latest phenomenon, Pushpa 2 The Rule, finally made its awaited OTT release on January 31 on Netflix. The sequel written and directed by Sukumar and his team is the second highest-grossing film in India and the fastest Rs 1800 Crore grosser. Not only Allu Arjun created several non-erasable records with Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil-starrer, he also raised the bar higher setting a new benchmark from pre-release targets to box office collections.

The pre-release theatrical business figures of Allu Arjun-Sukumar's sequel Pushpa 2 made headlines for selling the rights to a massive Rs 100 Crore in the Nizam region. The theatrical business of Rs 100 Crore raised eyebrows, and many felt it was impossible for Pushpa 2 to achieve break-even in the area.

The movie's total theatrical business ended only after 52 days. By that time, Pushpa 2 earned a Share Value of Rs 104.7 Crore, which is a Rs 4.5 Crore in solid profit. Trade experts and Tollywood insiders opine, recovering Rs 100 Crore business from Nizam region is no easy feat and is a historic record. Before Pushpa 2, SS Rajamouli's RRR movie recovered full business but the rights were not sold for Rs 100 Crore, unlike Pushpa 2. This is a record and belongs to Allu Arjun.

Pushpa 2 Synopsis
Pushparaj expands his smuggling deal internationally as Shekawat vows revenge. Meanwhile, Pushparaj decides to make Siddappa Naidu a Chief Minister. Amid his half-brother's taunts, Shekawat's challenges, and expanding his kingdom, Pushparaj seals his position as the syndicate head.

The movie stars Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli, Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, Jagadeep Prathap Bandari as Kesava, Sunil as Mangalam Srinu, Anasuya Bharadwaj as Dakshayani, Rao Ramesh as MP Bhumireddy Siddappa Naidu, Dhananjaya as Jaali Reddy, Ajay as Molleti Mohan, Sritej as Molleti Dhrama Raj, Mime Gopi as Chennai Murugan, Brahmaji as Sub-Inspector Kupparaj, and Kalpalatha as Parvatamma. In addition to the cast reprising their roles in the sequel, Jagapathi Babu played another pivotal role. Sreeleela sizzled in the special item track 'Kissik.'

Written and directed by Sukumar, the movie's dialogues were penned by Srikanth Vissa. Miroslaw Kuba Brozek cranked the camera, and AA Films distributed it. Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar of the Mythri Movie Makers banner in association with Sukumar Writings, funded the movie. Karthika Srinivas and Ruben worked as the editors. Pushpa 2 marks one of the most iconic collaborations of the successful trio Sukumar-Allu Arjun-Devi Sri Prasad.
