Raju Weds Rambai Box Office Collection: The Telugu romantic drama Raju Weds Rambai, featuring debutants Akhil Uddemari and Tejaswi Rao, continues its theatrical run with steady collections as it completes 13 days in cinemas. Written and directed by Saailu Kaampati, the film is produced under the banners of Dolamukhi Subaltern Films and Monsoon Tales, with Suresh Bobbili composing the music. According to box office tracking site Sacnilk, the film has collected an estimated ₹14.42 crore in India net during its first 13 days. The opening weekend saw a strong response, with the first three days bringing in ₹5.8 crore combined. Collections moderated during weekdays, a trend typical for small- to mid-budget romantic dramas in the current market.
Day-wise Performance
Raju Weds Rambai opened with ₹1.15 crore on Friday, followed by ₹2.15 crore and ₹2.5 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. The first week concluded with a total of ₹10.4 crore. The second week saw a slower pace, starting with ₹0.65 crore on Friday, with slight gains over the weekend. By Day 13 (Wednesday), the film earned roughly ₹0.37 crore, indicating a continuing downward trend typical of films in their second-week run.
Storyline, Cast, and Crew
The film is inspired by a real-life story, following a carefree band drummer whose romance with a compounder's daughter escalates into clashes of ego and honor. The narrative charts their journey from a sweet village love story to emotional conflict and eventual redemption, highlighting interpersonal tensions and village social dynamics.
Apart from the leads, the film features Shivaji Raja, Chaitu Jonnalagadda, Anitha Chowdary, and Kavitha Srirangam in supporting roles. The technical crew includes Wajid Baig as cinematographer, Naresh Adupa as editor, and Pradeep G handling sound design with Dolby Atmos mixing. Art direction is credited to Gandhi Nadikudikar, while fight sequences are choreographed by Stunt Shanker.
