Raju Weds Rambai Box Office Collection Day 3: Romantic Drama Led By Debut Actors Sees Impressive Weekend Surge

Raju Weds Rambai Box Office Collection Day 3

Raju Weds Rambai Box Office Collection: The Telugu romantic drama Raju Weds Rambai, which arrived in theaters on November 21, 2025, wrapped up its opening weekend with a notable upward trend at the box office. Featuring newcomers Akhil Uddemari and Tejaswi Rao, the film marks the directorial venture of Saailu Kaampati and is backed by Dolamukhi Subaltern Films and Monsoon Tales.

According to early estimates shared by box office tracker Sacnilk, Raju Weds Rambai collected around ₹5.9 crore (India net) over its first three days. The film opened on Friday with ₹1.15 crore, a modest beginning for a project led by debutant actors. The momentum picked up sharply on Saturday, registering ₹2.15 crore, reflecting an impressive jump of nearly 87% from the opening day. Sunday continued the upward trend, with the film drawing an estimated ₹2.6 crore, its highest daily figure so far.

This weekend pattern signals a promising start for the drama, especially considering its relatively small-scale release and its reliance on fresh faces. As the film enters its fourth day (Monday), attention now shifts to how the collections hold during the weekdays, a period that typically reveals the longevity of audience interest.

Story and Setting

Raju Weds Rambai draws inspiration from a true story rooted in rural life. At its center is Raju, a carefree band drummer whose budding romance with Rambai, the daughter of a compounder, sets off a chain of events shaped by ego clashes and societal expectations. What begins as a tender village love story gradually turns into an emotional journey marked by conflict, heartbreak, and personal reckoning. The narrative focuses on how these tensions alter the lives of the young couple and those around them.

Cast and Crew

The film introduces Akhil Uddemari and Tejaswi Rao in the lead roles, supported by Shivaji Raja, Chaitu Jonnalagadda, Anitha Chowdary, Kavitha Srirangam, and others.

Writer-director Saailu Kaampati helms the project, with Venu Udugula and Rahul Mopidevi serving as producers. The cinematography is handled by Wajid Baig, while Naresh Adupa takes charge of editing. The music is composed by Suresh Bobbili, and the film's sound design and Dolby Atmos mixing were overseen by Pradeep G and Devi Krishna Kadiyala, respectively.

Additional contributions come from art director Gandhi Nadikudikar, fight master Stunt Shanker, and the VFX team led by Naresh and Anil Mudduri. Publicity, marketing, and theatrical distribution were managed by multiple teams under BV Works and VN Entertainments.

Whether Raju Weds Rambai can sustain its weekend momentum during the weekdays will determine how it progresses at the box office, and the coming days will provide a clearer sense of its long-term performance.
