Ram Pothineni Next (RAPO 22) Titled As Andhra King Taluka: On the occasion of actor Ram Pothineni's birthday, the makers of his 22nd film officially unveiled the title of the project. The film, directed by Mahesh Babu P, is now titled Andhra King Taluka. A title glimpse was released on May 15 to coincide with the actor's birthday, providing a brief introduction to the film's premise and tone.

The short promotional video introduces the character of Sagar, played by Ram Pothineni, who appears to be a devoted fan of a fictional superstar. According to the makers, the film is described as "a biopic of a fan," aiming to depict the passion and emotional highs and lows that come with idolizing a film star. The glimpse highlights fan culture in Telugu cinema and hints at a story centered on the life of a young admirer navigating his devotion amidst everyday life.

Kannada actor Upendra plays the role of the superstar in the film, while Bhagyashri Borse takes on the role of the female lead. The supporting cast includes familiar names such as Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Satya, Rahul Ramakrishna, and VTV Ganesh.

Mahesh Babu P, who previously directed Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, is at the helm for this project. The film is backed by Mythri Movie Makers, with production responsibilities handled by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar. It is being presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar under the T-Series Films banner.

The music for Andhra King Taluka will be composed by the duo Vivek & Merwin. Cinematography is handled by Siddhartha Nuni, with veteran editor Sreekar Prasad on board. Production design is managed by Avinash Kolla, while color grading is being done at Annapurna Studios with Ashwath S as the colorist.

Post-production and visual supervision is led by Boppana Satyanarayana (Satya). Marketing for the film is being carried out by First Show, with audio rights held by T-Series Music.

A release date for Andhra King Taluka has not yet been announced. Ram Pothineni was last seen in Double iSmart, which underperformed at the box office. Fans and industry observers are now keen to see how this new film shapes up, especially with its exciting fan-centric premise.
