RC 16 Is Titled PEDDI: Ram Charan's upcoming sports-action drama written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana and featuring Janhvi Kapoor is titled 'Peddi.' On the occasion of the actor's 40th birthday, the filmmakers dropped an intense poster revealing the title as PEDDI. Ram Charan, who underwent a strict regimen and training to fit the bill of the movie's protagonist looked intriguing and menacing in his new avatar which has a rural nativity to it.

The movie marks the first collaboration of Buchi Babu-Ram Charan and Ram Charan-Janhvi Kapoor. After her grand South-Indian debut with Jr NTR-Koratala Siva's Devara Part 1, Janhvi Kapoor immediately signed for Ram Charan film even before Devara completed filming.

In the powerful first look from the movie that blends action and emotion in the right blend, against a backdrop of Cricket, PEDDI reminds us of Ram Charan's rustic character of 'Chittibabu' from 'Rangasthalam,' his first break-through given by Sukumar after a hiatus.

As per the available information to date, PEDDI movie stars Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, 'Mirzapur' fame Divyendu Sharma are part of the film's cast.

Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, in association with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the movie PEDDI has its entire music and score by AR Rahman. Reportedly, AR Rahman was brought onboard for a hefty remuneration. Rathnavelu is cranking the camera while Navin Nooli is working as the film's editor.
