Ram Charan's Birthday Surprise From Team RC 16: Ram Charan, the mega power star of Tollywood is turning 40 today. The father of a one-year-old actor made heads turn globally with his portrayal of Sita Ramaraju in SS Rajamouli's 'RRR.' Ever since, his graph soared to new heights and expectations for his films increased manifold. The actor's latest is his 16th film and is helmed by Vriddhi Cinemas, Mythri Movie Makers, and Sukumar Writings together. 'Uppena' fame Buchi Babu Sana is the writer-director of the RC 16, which is a sports-based drama. The movie marks Janhvi Kapoor's second Tollywood film after Devara and first collab with Ram Charan.

Ram Charan delivered a miserable film through his hyped collaboration with the legendary and maverick filmmaker Shankar for this Sankranthi. Titled 'Game Changer,' the movie featuring Kiara Advani ended up as a disaster, making him a subject for trolls. The stakes are indescribable for RC 16, which was launched on March 20 last year. On the occasion of the actor's birthday, the makers of the film have decided to throw a big surprise to the fans as well as the industry people by releasing the first look of Ram Charan, the title of the film, and also the release date.

Post the release of the 'RRR' movie, Buchi Babu Sana, who has worked about two years on the script work of RC 16 met up with Ram Charan and the project kicked off with several producers coming onboard. Sukumar, who delivered the phenomenal Pushpa 2 with Allu Arjun, is also part of the movie's production. After RC 16, Sukumar will again collaborate with the actor for another magic like 'Rangasthalam.'

To get into the required role for Buchi Babu's protagonist, Ram Charan, a fitness fanatic, had to undergo a special diet and exercise regimen to tone himself into a sports person's look. He jetted off to Australia for a month to get a personalized and hands-on training for it, before commencing the shoot. Recently, team RC 16 also revealed the exciting first look of the lead actress Janhvi Kapoor from the film. Her pictures with Ram Charan's wife Upasana Kamineni went viral on the internet.

Producers Exude Confidence In RC 16

Speaking at a recent event to promote Nithiin's Robinhood, Mythri Ravi Shankar, who are producing RC 16 shared, "There is a slight delay in sound works for the teaser. I have already seen it. There is a lengthy shot in the teaser that is worth watching 1000 times. People will talk about it once it comes out. The output has come out extraordinarily. The release date will also be included in the teaser."

Megastar Chiranjeevi's Cameo?

Reportedly, Chiranjeevi is likely going to be seen in a cameo in RC 16. Although there was no reaction about the team on this piece of information which went viral a couple of weeks ago, the cameo will only enhance the openings for the film and ripples the excitement among the fans. Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan have come together for many films previously including Magadheera and Acharya.

For the pooja (launch) ceremony on March 20, 2024, which was organized on a very grand note, megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan's wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela, Sukumar, AR Rahman, Boney Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and many others were also present along with the producers and technicians.

The movie's crew includes Rathnavelu ISC as its cinematographer. In addition to Janhvi Kapoor, the cast includes Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma among others in key roles.
