Rekhachithram Telugu OTT Release On Aha Video: There is no dearth of crime thrillers in Malayalam cinema, which are acclaimed worldwide. When a few films stand out among the rest by making a resounding success at the box office, their digital streaming debut becomes highly awaited. Asif Ali is delivering back-to-back record-breaking hits commercially with films that are also winning critical applause. Rekhachithram is one such investigative crime-thriller which earned worldwide popularity.

Jofin T. Chacko's directorial was released on January 9 and made a whopping Rs 57.30 Crore against a budget of Rs 9 Crore, approximately. Anaswara Rajan played the role of Rekha, whose 40-year-old murder leads the movie.

Synopsis
Vivek (Asif Ali) gets suspended for playing rummy and soon gets a punishment posting at the Malakkappara PS as a SHO. Rajendran (Siddique) who is about to die due to an incurable disease, shoots himself at a particular place and before pulling the trigger reveals through a Facebook Live that he and three others buried an unknown woman named Rekha in 1985. Back then, a young boy tells his friend about watching his father act in a movie called 'Kathodu Kathoram,' starring Mammootty.

The investigative thriller was released during the Sankranthi festival weekend in Malayalam worldwide and made its hyped OTT debut on Sony LIV on March 7. The Telugu dubbed version will start streaming on Aha Video beginning March 14. An official poster was also released.

Jofin T. Chacko directed the movie and Mujeeb Majeed composed the film's music. Appu Prabhakar cranked the camera and Shameer Muhammad worked as its editor. Ramu Sunil wrote the script while John Manthrikal penned the film's screenplay.
