Robinhood Box Office Collection Day 5 Prediction: Nithiin & Sreeleela's Film Witnesses HUGE DROP Over 56%

Robinhood Box Office Collection Day 5 Prediction: Written and directed by Venky Kudumula in his second collaboration with Nithiin, Robinhood is the latest action-comedy that was released along with MAD Square at the box office worldwide on March 28. With Sreeleela and David Warner as the poster images, the movie expected to make a big impact and bring Nithiin a much-needed success after five years. However, the timing didn't work out in favour of Robinhood along with several other factors.

Robinhood was supposed to arrive on the big screens for Christmas last year but unfortunately made it amid sky-high competition. Adding to the routine story and run-of-the-mill treatment, Robinhood movie became yet another sour grapes for the actor.

Robinhood Story
An orphan himself, Ram (Nithiin) is a modern-day Robinhood (Thief) who loots from the rich and distributes among the orphans. Devadatta Nage does illegal business of marijuana and in a bid to expand it to the international level, he finds out that Rudrakonda village has a special variety. Meanwhile, Neera Vasudev (Sreeleela) lands in India and goes to Rudrakonda with Ram as an escort. What is the connection between AV Pharma and Rudrakonda village? How is the mafia kingpin David (David Warner) connected to this?

Following a decent debut with mixed reactions, Nithiin and Sreeleela's comedy-action drama Robinhood fell at the box office in regard to the numbers. While it failed to put up fight with MAD Square, Empuraan, and Veera Dheera Sooran, the first Monday, which is actually a holiday, remained one of the biggest flop days with over 56% drop. The movie made only close to Rs 8.3 Crore in India. Check out the day-wise collection below.

The movie stars Nithiin as Robinhood, Sreeleela as Neera Vasudev, Vennela Kishore, Rajendra Prasad, Devdatta Nage, Shine Tom Chacko, Aadukalam Naren, Keshav Deepak, and Mime Gopi in key roles. Ketika Sharma sizzled in an item song called 'Adhi Dha Surprisu.'

GV Prakash Kumar is the film's music composer and Sai Sriram worked as the cinematographer. Koti worked as the editor while Ram-Laxman composed the action sequences. Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar of the Mythri Movie Makers are funding this project.
