Robinhood: Nithiin's Biggest Film Budget-wise

Tollywood's promising filmmaker Venky Kudumula joined hands with Nithiin once again to repeat the magic of 'Bheeshma.' Titled 'Robinhood,' the movie is a heist action-comedy featuring Sreeleela as the female lead. The movie funded by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchali Ravi Shankar of the Mythri Movie Makers is going to hit the screens worldwide on March 28 amid hype and expectations. The theatrical trailer of the movie Robinhood is just a couple of minutes away. Robinhood was supposed to be released around Christmas last year and was postponed due to other big releases and Sankranthi rush. Finally, at the beginning of the summer vacation, Nithiin's film is coming to the screens.

David Warner's Cameo

Venky Kudumula's directorial also marks the special cameo of Australian Cricketer David Warner's Tollywood and acting debut. The Cricketer was paid Rs 4 Crore for his time.

Nithiin's Biggest Budget Film

About Rs 65-70 Crore. Mythri Movie makers, who funded the project is going for their own release in the Nizam region, which is going to be crucial for the film's break-even. Theatrical rights are valued at Rs 30 Crore, reportedly and the movie's break-even target is over Rs 30 Crore, worldwide. The makers shot for the movie extensively across Hyderabad, Munnar, and various parts of Australia. At first, the movie was announced with Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead referring to the VNRTrio, in their second collab after Bheeshma, but the actress cited date clash for walking out. Even though Raashii Khanna was approached, the makers finalized Sreeleela as the female lead. The movie marks second collaboration between Nithiin and Sreeleela after 'Extra Ordinary Man.'

The movie stars Nithiin as Robinhood, Sreeleela as Neera Vasudev, Vennela Kishore, Rajendra Prasad, Devdatta Nage, Shine Tom Chacko, Aadukalam Naren, Keshav Deepak, and Mime Gopi in key roles. Ketika Sharma sizzled in an item song called 'Adhi Dha Surprisu.'

GV Prakash Kumar is the film's music composer and Sai Sriram worked as the cinematographer. Koti worked as the editor while Ram-Laxman composed the action sequences. Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar of the Mythri Movie Makers are funding this project.
