Salman Khan's Next With Harish Shankar: After Tollywood started making big-budget, pan-India films with epic star cast, the scale and range of the productions have increased manifold. With the season of collaborations exciting the film buffs even better than the movie's content itself, another curious team up is now making headlines. Bollywood's Salman Khan, who hit the screens with an action-thriller directed by AR Murugadoss' Sikandar, is yet again collaborating with another south director, Harish Shankar. The popular production house, Mythri Movie Makers, is venturing into Bollywood with this production.

While not many details of this unusual but exciting collaboration are revealed, there are also several concerns over them given the success record of both the actor and director. Meanwhile, Mythri Movie Makers, who are venturing into Kollywood with Ajith Kumar and Adhik Ravichandran's 'Good Bad Ugly' are expanding their horizons with these pan-India multi-starrer films.

Harish Shankar, who is helming the tweaked remake of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Theri' as Ustaad Bhagat Singh with Pawan Kalyan, will proceed with the new film once he gets away with the ongoing schedules.

Sikandar Earns Mixed Response

Starring Rashmika Mandanna, the movie Sikandar marks AR Murugadoss' Bollywood debut following Atlee's with 'Jawan.' The movie produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his home banner on a budget of Rs 200 Crore, has so far made Rs 54.73 Crore at the box office worldwide. The movie was released yesterday (March 30). The movie also stars Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, and Prateik Babbar.

Harish Shankar's Filmography

Filmmaker Harish Shankar made his directorial debut in 2006 with Ravi Teja's 'Shock' movie and then made 'Mirapakay' with him. He directed Salman Khan's 'Dabangg' in Telugu with Pawan Kalyan as 'Gabbar Singh' before working with Allu Arjun on 'Duvvada Jagannadham.' Subramanyam For Sale and Gaddalakonda Ganesh are also his notable films.

His recent movie was Ravi Teja-starrer Mr Bachchan, which is an official remake of Raid. The movie ended up as a disaster by making only Rs 7 Crore against a budget of Rs 70 Crore.
