Sankranthiki Vasthunam All-time Industry Record In Tollywood: Venkatesh-starrer Sankranthiki Vasthunam, a family comedy-caper directed by Anil Ravipudi, is an unstoppable force at the box office currently. The movie which stars Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the two female leads is setting the cash registers ringing with continuous hold. The movie is the first blockbuster of Tollywood in 2025 and the first Rs 300 Crore grosser. In addition, in 20 days, the movie also achieved an unbeatable feat of becoming the first 'Regional' film to set an industry record by making Rs 303 Crore worldwide in gross.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam movie marks the hattrick collaboration between Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi after 'F2' and 'F3.' The movie opened to positive reviews from family audiences on January 14 for the Sankranthi festival. It is the biggest opener and highest-grosser in Venkatesh's career to date. Dil Raju, who produced Ram Charan's Game Changer movie earned as much profit from Sankranthiki Vasthunam. Satya Akella (Srinivas Avasarala) is a US-based Tech entrepreneur who gets kidnapped immediately after he touches down in India. The high-profile case prompts Meenu (Meenakshi Chaudhary) to seek help from her ex-flame, former cop Yadagiri Damodhar Raju aka YD Raju (Venkatesh), who is now spending a peaceful life with his wife Bhagya Lakshmi (Aishwarya Rajesh) and son at his village. What Happens Next? is all about the fun-filled action entertainer.

Dil Raju funded the movie under his Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, and Anil Ravipudi directed it. Bheems Ceciroleo composed the film's entire music and score, while Sameer Reddy cranked the camera. Tammiraju edited it, and AS Prakash was the Production Designer.
