Sankranthiki Vasthunam OTT Release Delayed? Victory Venkatesh's latest blockbuster Sankranthi release titled Sankranthiki Vasthunam emerged as an unstoppable force at the domestic box office and is the first biggest hit of the year in Tollywood. Anil Ravipudi scored a massive festive bonanza with his third collaboration with Venkatesh, giving him the biggest success of his career after a long time. With Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh in key roles, the family crime-comedy is winning applause from family audiences who are repeatedly watching it.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam movie earned Rs 260 Crore over two weekends and is continuing to show strength at the ticket windows. Venkatesh bounced back to success track and with a bang as the movie achieved break-even within three days. Sankranthiki Vasthunam is the first Rs 200 Crore grosser of Tollywood and the first hit of 2025.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam Synopsis
Satya Akella (Srinivas Avasarala) is a US-based Tech entrepreneur who gets kidnapped immediately after he touches down in India. The high-profile case prompts Meenu (Meenakshi Chaudhary) to seek help from her ex-flame, former cop Yadagiri Damodhar Raju aka YD Raju (Venkatesh), who is now spending a peaceful life with his wife Bhagya Lakshmi (Aishwarya Rajesh) and son at his village. What Happens Next? is all about the fun-filled action entertainer.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam OTT Release Delayed?

For obvious reasons, it is now learned that Dil Raju, producer of the Sankranthiki Vasthunam movie has been negotiating with the Zee Group to delay the film's OTT release. The post-theatrical streaming rights and satellite rights have been bagged by Zee 5, Zee Telugu & Zee Cinemalu channels for Rs 30 Crore, reportedly. With the movie still doing pretty well at the box office, the price and duration negotiations are currently underway. Otherwise, Sankranthiki Vasthunam movie might have hit the streaming platform in the second week of February.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam tars Venkatesh Daggubati, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Aishwarya Rajesh, Upendra Limaye, Sai Kumar, Naresh, VTV Ganesh, Prithviraj, Srinivas Avasarala, Muralidhar Goud, Anand Rama Raju, Pammi Sai, Sai Srinivas, Mahesh Balaraj, Pradeep Kabra, and Chitti among others in key roles.

Dil Raju funded the movie under his Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, and Anil Ravipudi directed it. Bheems Ceciroleo composed the film's entire music and score, while Sameer Reddy cranked the camera. Tammiraju edited it, and AS Prakash was the Production Designer.
