The veteran, who enjoyed unwavering love from the family audiences since the beginning of his career, scored the biggest hit of his career with Anil Ravipudi's 'Sankranthiki Vasthunam.' The movie which was released on Jan 14 worldwide with Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh as the female leads, is one the only Telugu film industry veteran to touch the $ 3 Million mark in the USA. Sankranthiki Vasthunam movie is setting new records with each passing day at the box office in India and USA, becoming the highest-grosser of Tollywood 2025.

Venkatesh Hikes Remuneration From Rs 8 Crore

Following the highly awaited success that came with Sankranthiki Vasthunam, Venkatesh is on cloud nine and the veteran is filled with new energy. Like never before, Venkatesh received flak for his maiden web series with Rana Daggubati titled 'Rana Naidu.' His previous film, Saindhav, was a box office disaster and earned disastrous reviews. As per the latest updates, Venkatesh, who used to receive a remuneration of about Rs 8 Crore to Rs 10 Crore, has hiked his remuneration. If the buzz is true, the actor is demanding Rs 15 Crore per film starting his next film.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam tars Venkatesh Daggubati, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Aishwarya Rajesh, Upendra Limaye, Sai Kumar, Naresh, VTV Ganesh, Prithviraj, Srinivas Avasarala, Muralidhar Goud, Anand Rama Raju, Pammi Sai, Sai Srinivas, Mahesh Balaraj, Pradeep Kabra, and Chitti among others in key roles.

Dil Raju funded the movie under his Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, and Anil Ravipudi directed it. Bheems Ceciroleo composed the film's entire music and score, while Sameer Reddy cranked the camera. Tammiraju edited it, and AS Prakash was the Production Designer.
