Sivarapalli OTT Release & Platform: Telugu Version Of Panchayat Series Will Stream On Prime Video; Deets HERE

Panchayat Series Now In Telugu As Sivarapalli: One of the most regional and loved Hindi web series, Panchayat, which was highly successful, is now making its Telugu debut as 'Sivarapalli' on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Bhaskar Mourya, the series was written by Shanmukha Prashanth. The remake series will debut on the streaming platform starting January 24.

Sivarapalli Premise

The story of the web series follows the life of Shyam, a young man determined to get a government job despite having a degree in engineering. He settles for a low-income job in a remote village called Sivarapalli. He continues to pursue his goal amid dramatic challenges in the rural life and bureaucracy.

Announcing the series' debut in Telugu titled Sivarapalli, Amazon Prime Video shared the trailer on their socials and wrote, "Swagatham 🌻 It's time to meet all the beautiful people & stories from Sivarapalli 🥰💙

Speaking about the series, one of the producers, Shreyansh Pandey, head of originals at TVF shared in a statement, "Set against the backdrop of a close-knit rural community, Sivarapalli captures the essence of village life with authenticity and warmth. Director Bhaskhar Maurya has skillfully balanced comedy and drama to craft a tale that feels relatable and enduring. Brought to life by a talented ensemble cast, the series reflects universal themes of connection, resilience, and finding joy in simplicity."

The series stars Rag Mayur, Muralidhar Goud, Rupa Lakshmi, Uday Gurrala, Pavani Karanam, and Sunny Palle among others in key roles.

The Telugu and Tamil remake of Panchayat web series was produced by Vijay Koshy, Amit Prasad, Arunabh Kumar, Ravikiran Madineedi, and Shreyansh Pandey together under the banner of The Viral Fever (TVF).
