Priyanka Chopra's Remuneration For SSMB 29: By now it is completely revealed that Priyanka Chopra is indeed playing an important role in the upcoming film alongside superstar Mahesh Babu, helmed by SS Rajamouli. The movie referred to as SSMB29 just went on floors and is the most expensive film to date in India. For the same, the actress who moved to LA and settled down there with her husband Nick Jonas, is said to have received a bomb-like pay cheque. Her big fat remuneration is the highest for any actress in India, reportedly.

Priyanka Chopra is said to have signed the dotted line for a whopping Rs 25 Crore, surpassing the record of Deepika Padukone for Kalki 2898 AD. Deepika took home about Rs 20 Crore for the Prabhas'-starrer and there is also a sequel pending. With the latest buzz about Priyanka Chopra Jonas' remuneration, a new record has been set. In addition, there are a few reports from Hollywood that suggest the actress was paid about Rs 40 Crore.

SSMB 29 Budget
A humongous budget of about Rs 900 Crore to Rs 1000 Crore was earmarked for superstar Mahesh Babu's action film for which the director zeroed in on a maximum of eight looks. Sri Durga Arts banner, helmed by KS Ramarao is funding the project. Following a launch ceremony at the Aluminum Factory in Hyderabad, the regular shooting just kickstarted. The team will reportedly shoot at a specially erected set in RFC. The movie also uses heavy VFX and CGI, and over a year has been dedicated to its post-production works alone.

SSMB 29 In Two Parts
The movie is said to be a script that has all the potential and commercial elements of a cinematic universe. The writer of the film Vijayendra Prasad also let out some interesting details on how there is so much scope for many stars to be part of the action entertainer. In addition, the makers confirmed that the movie is a two-part cinematic wonder which will have several hair-raising moments.

SSMB29 Cast & Crew

Rajamouli is keen on the movie's scale and its larger-than-life reach which prompts him to cast well-known actors from across the country and abroad. For now, only Priyanka Chopra Jonas and actor-filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran are confirmed for key roles. MM Keeravani will compose the music and score for the movie written by Vijayendra Prasad, Rajamouli's father.
