SSMB 29 Official Launch Kept Secret; Here's Why! Superstar Mahesh Babu's hyped and career's biggest project was made once he announced collaboration with filmmaker SS Rajamouli. Referred to as #SSMB 29, the action-adventure thriller which will be shot across the world was officially launched in Hyderabad at the Aluminum Factory on June 3, citing auspicious muhurtham. The launch event was very low-key and strictly private exclusive for the important cast and crew. No picture or video has come out through Tollywood media so far.

SSMB 29 Budget, Regular Shooting, & Finalized Cast

Sri Durga Arts banner, helmed by KS Ramarao, has earmarked about Rs 1000 Crore for the production of SSMB 29. Regular shooting is expected to begin after the Sankranthi, with a specially erected set getting its final touches. The movie also uses heavy VFX and CGI, and over a year has been dedicated to its post-production works.

Rajamouli is keen on the movie's scale and its larger-than-life reach which prompts him to cast well-known actors from across the country. While Priyanka Chopra Jonas is said to have been cast for the female lead's role, actor-filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran was also roped in for a pivotal character. MM Keeravani will compose the music and score for the movie written by Vijayendra Prasad, Rajamouli's father.
