SS Rajamouli, the only filmmaker with no failures at the box office and also holds the prestigious title of bringing the coveted Oscar Award to India, is gearing up with his career's biggest and most exciting project in which he collaborated with superstar Mahesh Babu, the biggest south superstar. Referred to as SSMB 29, the movie, a globe-trotting adventure drama with themes of suspense, thrill, and action, is going to set rolling. Priyanka Chopra is the female lead and the regular shooting just began.

Mahesh Babu is a family man and always prioritizes going on a holiday quite frequently. All his family holidays are to the beautiful and dreamy locations abroad with his entire family. For his reputation of going away in between shooting schedules, Rajamouli, who booked Mahesh Babu for a solid five years for SSMB 29, jokingly seized the actor's passport, thereby preventing him from leaving the country on holidays. SSMB 29 Budget
A humongous budget of about Rs 900 Crore to Rs 1000 Crore was earmarked for superstar Mahesh Babu's action drama. Sri Durga Arts banner, helmed by KS Ramarao, has earmarked about Rs 1000 Crore for the production of SSMB 29. Following a launch ceremony at the Aluminum Factory in Hyderabad, the regular shooting just kickstarted. The team will reportedly shoot at a specially erected set in RFC. The movie also uses heavy VFX and CGI, and over a year has been dedicated to its post-production works alone.

SSMB 29 In Two Parts
The movie is said to be a script that has all the potential and commercial elements of a cinematic universe. The writer of the film Vijayendra Prasad also let out some interesting details on how there is so much scope for many stars to be part of the action entertainer. In addition, the makers confirmed that the movie is a two-part cinematic wonder which will have several hair-raising moments.

Rajamouli is keen on the movie's scale and its larger-than-life reach which prompts him to cast well-known actors from across the country. While Priyanka Chopra Jonas is cast for the female lead's role, actor-filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran was also roped in for a pivotal character. MM Keeravani will compose the music and score for the movie written by Vijayendra Prasad, Rajamouli's father.
