Priyanka Chopra's Interesting Character In SSMB 29: Superstar Mahesh Babu's upcoming film under the direction of SS Rajamouli, SSMB 29, is currently in its first schedule of production. The unit is shooting in specially erected sets in Hyderabad with utmost care and secrecy. The stakes are super high and the hype is beyond comprehension for the movie which is going to be a globe-trotting adventure drama that showcases Mahesh Babu in a never-seen-before avatar. The movie is surely going to offer several moments for the fans to experience an adrenaline rush and sadly, the movie will not hit the screens for another two years.

Priyanka Chopra took time off from the shooting schedule of SSMB 29 to attend her brother Siddharth's wedding festivities. The actress' presence in the movie is expected to leverage the production across the USA in a much bigger way, which could be the reason for her casting, according to reports.

The 'Citadel' actress is rumoured to be playing a prominent female lead role of a wealthy billionaire who calls the shots for Mahesh Babu's character to embark on a great adventure to the jungles. Her character has grey shades and is of a negative tinge, as per the buzz that is going viral on the internet.

SSMB 29 Cast & Crew

The movie is being funded on a massive budget, probably the highest ever in the history of Indian cinema, by KL Narayana Rao under the Durga Arts banner. The actors and the technical team's remuneration makes for almost 50% of the entire budget, reportedly. However, superstar Mahesh Babu is letting go of his remuneration and is expecting a huge profit share in the film.

Written by Vijayendra Prasad, SS Rajamouli's father, the movie, which will be made in two parts, will have its entire music and score done by MM Keeravani. Rajamouli works with in-house technicians except for the cinematographer K Senthil Kumar. For the first time, Senthil Kumar is not going to be part of SS Rajamouli's film and P.S. Vinod is cranking the camera marking his second collaboration with Mahesh Babu after 'Guntur Kaaram.'
