Subham Now Streaming On OTT: Samantha's Production Venture Hits Digital Platform; Check Details

Subham Now Available For Streaming: After completing its theatrical run, Subham, a Telugu horror-comedy, is now available for digital viewing. The film began streaming on Jio Hotstar on June 13, 2025, and is accessible in five languages-Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Directed by Praveen Kandregula and written by Vasanth Mariganti, Subham is the first production from actor Samantha's banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, made in collaboration with Kanakavalli Talkies. The project also lists Raj Nidimoru as creative producer and Himank Duvvuru as co-producer.

Strange Nightly Behavior Among Village Women Sparks a Local Mystery

Set in the coastal town of Bheemili, Subham follows the life of a local cable TV operator who marries a woman with an MBA degree. Their quiet domestic life takes a strange turn when, night after night at exactly 9 PM, the wife begins to behave in an unnerving and disconnected manner. What initially seems like an isolated personal issue soon reveals a broader, more disturbing pattern-multiple women in the village exhibit the same transformation at the same time every night.

As the protagonist tries to make sense of these incidents, he is drawn into a mystery that appears to be tied to a long-buried secret from the village's past. The narrative hints at a larger, unspoken mystery within the village, as the recurring events suggest an eerie pattern that no one openly acknowledges.

Subham features a cast comprising Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, Shalini Kondepudi, and Vamshidhar Goud. The film was shot with cinematography by Mridul Sujit Sen and edited by Dharmendra Kakarala. Production design was overseen by Ramcharan Tej Labani.

Music for Subham comes from Shor Police, and the score is composed by Vivek Sagar. A promotional song titled Janma Janmala Bandham (The Clock Strikes 9) was released ahead of the film on May 3, 2025.

Production of the film wrapped in March 2025. The teaser was unveiled on March 31, followed by a trailer release on April 27. The film premiered in cinemas on May 9 before transitioning to its OTT release this week.
