Subham OTT Release Date Announced: When And Where To Watch Samantha's Debut Production Online

Subham OTT Release: Telugu horror comedy Subham is all set for its digital premiere on June 13, weeks after its theatrical release.

The Telugu film Subham, which hit theaters on May 9, 2025, is gearing up for its digital debut. Streaming platform JioHotstar has officially announced that the horror-comedy will be available for streaming starting June 13, marking the OTT release of Samantha Ruth Prabhu's first production venture under her banner Tralala Moving Pictures.

A Small-Town Mystery Unfolds In This Horror Comedy

Directed by Praveen Kandregula, Subham is set in the early 2000s in the town of Bheemili. At the centre of the story is a cable TV technician who ties the knot with a woman holding an MBA degree. Their seemingly ordinary life takes an unsettling turn when his wife begins exhibiting strange behavior every night at exactly 9 PM. As he digs deeper, he learns that this isn't an isolated incident-several women in the village are similarly affected. What begins as confusion quickly spirals into a mystery that ties back to a disturbing secret the village may be hiding.

Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, Shalini Kondepudi, and Vamshidhar Goud form the ensemble cast of the film. The screenplay has been written by Vasanth Mariganti, with Raj Nidimoru attached to the project as the creative producer. Kanakavalli Talkies joined as a co-production partner on the project.

Shor Police composed the film's soundtrack, while the background score was provided by Vivek Sagar. A promotional track titled Janma Janmala Bandham (The Clock Strikes 9) was released on May 3. Mridul Sujit Sen served as the cinematographer, while Dharmendra Kakarala took charge of editing. The production design was handled by Ramcharan Tej Labani.

Subham was wrapped up in March 2025, followed by a teaser release on March 31 and a trailer launch on April 27. The film blends horror with comedy while tapping into psychological and supernatural elements, all framed against the backdrop of a small-town setting.

With its upcoming release on JioHotstar, the film is likely to find a broader viewership beyond its time in theatres. Viewers who missed the theatrical screening will now have the opportunity to watch Subham from the comfort of their homes beginning June 13.
