Subham OTT Release: After a theatrical run that began on May 9, 2025, the Telugu horror-comedy Subham is now gearing up for its digital release. The film, which marks actor Samantha's first venture as a producer under her banner Tralala Moving Pictures, will be available for streaming on Jio Hotstar starting June 13. Subham will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

A village mystery unfolds in horror-comedy Subham

Set in the early 2000s, Subham is directed by Praveen Kandregula and penned by Vasanth Mariganti. The narrative centers on a humble cable television operator who ties the knot with a woman holding an MBA degree. While their married life starts off uneventfully, a strange pattern soon emerges-every night at exactly 9 PM, his wife exhibits an eerie transformation, becoming distant and cold. The situation turns more disturbing when he realizes she isn't alone; several women in the village behave similarly each night.

What begins as confusion soon turns into fear as he digs deeper into the unsettling behavior. The film gradually unravels a mystery rooted in the village's past, linking these occurrences to a shared secret that no one dares to speak of openly.

The film features an ensemble cast that includes Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, Shalini Kondepudi, and Vamshidhar Goud. Behind the scenes, the project brought together a sizable creative team. Raj Nidimoru served as the creative producer, with Himank Duvvuru joining as co-producer. The cinematographer of the movie was Mridul Sujit Sen, and the production designer was Ramcharan Tej Labani, while Dharmendra Kakarala handled editing duties.

Shor Police handled the film's music composition, while Vivek Sagar created the background score. The film's promotional track, Janma Janmala Bandham (The Clock Strikes 9), released in early May, gave a musical taste of the film.

With its OTT release scheduled for June 13, Subham will be accessible to a broader audience who missed its theatrical run. This also marks a significant milestone for Samantha, as she steps into the role of producer with a genre that blends humor, suspense, and supernatural elements.
