Subham OTT Release: Subham, a Telugu-language horror-comedy film, was released in theatres on May 9, 2025. The film marks the debut production venture of actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu under her banner Tralala Moving Pictures. Directed by Praveen Kandregula and written by Vasanth Maringanti, Subham is set in early-2000s Bheemili and blends a small-town atmosphere with supernatural elements.

Though the film has just made its theatrical debut, details about its digital release are already drawing attention. According to a report by Deccan Chronicle, the streaming rights for Subham were acquired by Netflix ahead of its theatrical release. While the makers have not officially announced the OTT premiere date, the film is expected to stream on the platform in the second week of June, as per the report.

The film's plot revolves around a cable TV operator in Bheemili who marries an MBA graduate. Life takes an unsettling turn when his wife begins to behave strangely every night at 9 PM-becoming cold, distant, and unfamiliar. He soon discovers that several other women in the village are showing similar symptoms. As fear spreads, he begins to unravel a disturbing mystery that points to a recurring event tied to that specific hour.

The cast includes Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, Shalini Kondepudi, and Vamshidhar Goud.

On the technical side, the cinematography is handled by Mridul Sujit Sen, while Dharmendra Kakarala takes charge of editing. Music for the film is composed by Shor Police, with background score by Vivek Sagar. The film's visual tone is shaped by production designer Ramcharan Tej Labani, and VFX and post-production are overseen by Nikhil Koduru in collaboration with Sarathi Studios.

With Subham currently playing in theatres to positive reviews, moviegoers are expected to continue turning out for its big-screen experience, while details about the OTT release are likely to be confirmed closer to its digital premiere.
