New Release Date For Thammudu: Nithiin, who tasted another flop, a disastrous one with Sreeleela-starrer Venky Kudumula's directorial titled 'Robinhood,' is now pinning all his hopes on his upcoming film titled 'Thammudu.' Venu Sriram, who helmed 'Vakeel Saab' with Pawan Kalyan is directing Thammudu, which has actress Laya in the role of Nithiin's sister. 'Kantara' fame Sapthami Gowda is the female lead, marking her Tollywood debut alongside Nithiin.

Why Thammudu Is A Career-defining Film For Nithiin

The actor, who also owns a production and distribution banner has been in the industry for a long time with a weak and less success rate. More than 50% of his films were box office flops. With his recent release Robinhood putting a dent to the producers, the actor, who has six consecutive flops and a three more before that, is now on a very important stage. If Thammudu doesn't work big time for Nithiin, his market is going to crash and the actor might take a long time to recover from the back-to-back slew of flops.

Thammudu movie has been in production for a very long time now due to scheduling and filming delays. Many a time, the makers have come out with a theatrical release date and then announced postponement. The latest buzz around the release date states that Thammudu will hit the screens on July 4. There is no official announcement about the movie's release date as yet.

Thammudu Synopsis
As the title suggests, Nithiin's Thammudu is a film that talks about the love of a brother who goes to any length to protect his sister from several challenges in her life. The bonding between siblings and how they overcome misunderstandings to strengthen their relationships forms the crux.

The movie stars Nithiin, Sapthami Gowda, Laya, Kishore Raju Vasistha, Reddi Bhanu Prasad, Balagam Sanjay Krishna, Rohit, Vamsi Raghava Yenumala among others in key roles.

Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, the movie was written and directed by Venu Sriram. The film's music was composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath. Karthik Reddy Pasunur co-wrote the film's story. Satyajit Pande handled the movie's cinematography while Manjunath Ganesh worked as its editor. Srirengaraj worked as the visual effects director, and Meghana Srinivas Thota composed the action sequences.
