Thandel Storyline
Raju, a devoted fisherman, shares a deep love with Satya. However, she eventually urges him to leave his profession and seek a different livelihood. Despite her concerns, Raju sets out to sea and unknowingly drifts into Pakistani waters, where he is captured. The story unfolds as Raju and Satya navigate a series of heartbreaking challenges in their fight to reunite.
Thandel Cast and Crew
Thandel stars Naga Chaitanya as Raju, also known as "Thandel Raju," and Sai Pallavi as Satya, affectionately called "Bujji Thalli." The supporting cast includes Prakash Belawadi as a Pakistani jailer, alongside Divya Pillai, Rao Ramesh, Karunakaran, and Babloo Prithiveeraj in pivotal roles. Kalpa Latha portrays Raju's mother, while Kalyani Natarajan, Parvateesam, Mahesh Achanta, Kishore Raju Vasishta, and Abhinav Singh Raghav, who plays the PA to the External Foreign Minister, complete the ensemble.
Written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film is produced by Bunny Vasu, with Bhanu Prathapa and Riyaz Chowdary serving as co-producers. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography is handled by Shamdat ISC, and editing is done by Navin Nooli. Sri Nagendra Tangala spearheaded the production design, while action sequences were choreographed by Supreme Sundar, V. Venkat, and Vikram Mor. Lyrics were penned by Sreemani and Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao, with K. Raghunath handling sound design. Post-production work took place at Annapurna Studios, and Aditya Music secured the film's audio rights.
