Thandel Storyline

Raju, a devoted fisherman, shares a deep love with Satya. However, Satya eventually pleads with him to give up fishing and seek alternative work. Despite her concerns, Raju sets out to sea, only to unintentionally drift into Pakistani waters, where he is captured. The story then unfolds as Raju and Satya navigate a series of emotional and challenging events in their quest to reunite.

Thandel Cast and Crew

Thandel features Naga Chaitanya as Raju, also known as "Thandel Raju," and Sai Pallavi as Satya, lovingly called "Bujji Thalli." The film also stars Prakash Belawadi as a Pakistani jailer, along with Divya Pillai, Rao Ramesh, Karunakaran, and Babloo Prithiveeraj in key roles. Kalpa Latha plays Raju's mother, while Kalyani Natarajan, Parvateesam, Mahesh Achanta, Kishore Raju Vasishta, and Abhinav Singh Raghav, who portrays the PA to the External Foreign Minister, round out the ensemble cast.

Written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel was produced by Bunny Vasu, with Bhanu Prathapa and Riyaz Chowdary as co-producers. The film features music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Shamdat ISC, and editing by Navin Nooli. Sri Nagendra Tangala served as the production designer, while Supreme Sundar, V. Venkat, and Vikram Mor handled the action sequences. The film's lyrics were penned by Sreemani and Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao, with sound design by K. Raghunath.
