The movie starring Sai Pallavi was released to positive reviews on February 7 worldwide and opened an unprecedented box office record for the actor, who has been awaiting a hit for the last five years.

Thandel touched Rs 80 Crore worldwide already in the first six days. The movie is the first Rs 50 Crore film for Naga Chaitanya and is en route to becoming the first Rs 100 Crore film by the end of the upcoming weekend. On the other hand, Thandel is going to be Chandoo Mondeti's second consecutive Rs 100 Crore film after 'Karthikeya 2.'

Thandel Synopsis

Despite Satya's plea to quit fishing, Thandel Raju and his team of fishermen drift away and enter Pakistani waters during their fishing trip. They decide to get married after that one trip, but Raju and his team are held captive at a Pakistani jail. Bujji Thalli's unwavering love, courage, and strength until the moment of reunion are all about Thandel, dealt beautifully with deep romantic narration, elevated music, and stunning visuals.
