Thandel: Netizens Heavily Criticize Ticket Price Hike For Naga Chaitanya & Sai Pallavi's Romantic Drama
Thandel Ticket Hike Draws Flak Online: Starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi as the lead characters, director Chandoo Mondeti's latest romantic drama titled Thandel, is going to hit the screens worldwide on Feb 7. The movie's premiere is happening tonight (Feb 6) at overseas locations. Thandel is carrying high hopes and the team is confident about its box office performance.
The movie, which is based on a real-life incident, has only focused on the romantic angle of the original story. Given the limited popularity Naga Chaitanya enjoys in Kollywood and Bollywood, the makers of Thandel decided to dub the movie in Tamil and Hindi versions as well.

Thandel Raju and his team of fishermen drift away and enter Pakistan waters during their fishing trip. Raju and Bujji Thalli's love story, their courage and strength till the moments of reunion is all about Thandel, dealt beautifully with deep romantic narration, elevated music, and stunning visuals.
Ticket Hike For Thandel
For star-studded, big-budget films made with enormous budgets that majorly include the remuneration of the cast, the two Telugu state governments agreed to hike the ticket price. It has become a norm for every movie nowadays and Thandel is no exception.
However, film buffs and netizens who learned about the Rs 50 hike on single-screens and the Rs 75 hike on each ticket in multiplex screens, have ridiculed the decision taken by the government of Andhra Pradesh. The hike of ticket prices is allowed for the first seven days across all the theatres and regions. They openly criticized ticket hikes for Thandel and felt that it was absolutely unnecessary for Naga Chaitanya's film of this scale. Check out a few tweets below.

Apart from Naga Chaitanya as Raju and Sai Pallavi as Satya AKA Bujji Thalli, the movie stars Kalpalatha, Karunakaran, Prakash Belawadi, Mahesh Achanta, and Parvateesam among others in prominent roles.
Bunny Vasu and Allu Aravind produced he movie under the Geetha Arts banners. Naveen Nooli and Shamdat Sainudeen worked as the film's editor and cinematographer. Karthik Theeda co-wrote the movie along with the director, Chandoo Mondeti. Devi Sri Prasad composed the film's entire background score and music.
