Thandel OTT Platform & When To Watch: The latest romantic entertainer co-written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti is Thandel, featuring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. The movie produced on a budget of over Rs 80 Crore is the costliest film in Naga Chaitanya's career and hit the screens on February 7 worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. After its theatrical release, the movie is earning a decent word-of-mouth with audiences showering appreciation on the music director Devi Sri Prasad, Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi.

Netflix Secures Post-theatrical Rights of Thandel

The makers of the film sold the all-inclusive digital streaming rights of Naga Chaitanya-starrer to Netflix, for a decent sum. Apart from the theatrical rights, the digital rights of Thandel secured closed to Rs 40 Crore in income, making it one of the most-profitable ventures. Reportedly, the agreement was made for five weeks and the movie Thandel might start streaming on Netflix from the second or third week of March.

Apart from Naga Chaitanya as Raju and Sai Pallavi as Satya AKA Bujji Thalli, the movie stars Kalpalatha, Karunakaran, Prakash Belawadi, Mahesh Achanta, and Parvateesam among others in prominent roles.

Bunny Vasu and Allu Aravind produced the movie under the Geetha Arts banners. Naveen Nooli and Shamdat Sainudeen worked as the film's editor and cinematographer. Karthik Theeda co-wrote the movie along with the director, Chandoo Mondeti. Devi Sri Prasad composed the film's entire background score and music.
