Thandel Theatrical Business & Budget: Naga Chaitanya's upcoming romantic actioner written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti titled Thandel, is gearing up for its grand theatrical release. The 'Karthikeya 2' filmmaker teamed up with Allu Aravind's Geetha Arts banner to make this survival drama based on true events. Thandel movie is going to hit the screens in Tamil and Hindi versions along with the original Telugu version on February 7.

Thandel's tracks composed by Devi Sri Prasad have already won a thumbs-up and are trending among the top 10 chartbusters. The actor and the team have invested all their hope in Thandel, which is going to be crucial in Naga Chaitanya's career. The theatrical trailer of Thandel is going to be released on January 28.

For Thandel movie, Allu Aravind spent Rs 85 Crore, the highest for a Naga Chaitanya-led project. Reportedly, the digital, satellite, and Hindi distribution rights recovered about Rs 40 Crore already and the rest is supposed to come from the theatrical business & what comes from the box office after its release is the profit.

Owing to the lukewarm market Naga Chaitanya has, the producers are planning for own release in several areas. They are waiting to finalize the distribution rights and Naga Chaitanya's track record has come in the way, reportedly. It is now to be seen how the makers of the movie will stride through the theatrical business for the Sai Pallavi-starrer. Meanwhile, the movie's teaser and glimpse have come out very well giving a sample of the highest production values, hard work and theme.
