Thandel Worldwide Collection In Four Days: Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi-starrer latest romantic action drama Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, opened to highly positive reviews worldwide on February 7. The movie which was produced by Allu Aravind on a big budget earned a whopping Rs 73.20 Crore in the first four days of its box office performance worldwide. After a phenomenal first and opening weekend, Thandel movie witnessed a major drop on its first Monday by over 65%.

Thandel is the first Rs 50 Crore film for Naga Chaitanya and his major success to date. In addition, the actor has been awaiting a hit film for over five years and took two years to hit the screens with Thandel. For this real-life based incident turned into screenplay, Naga Chaitanya underwent a heavy transformation both physically and mentally. As Thandel Raju, a fisherman, he did full justice to the role giving a strong performance alongside Sai Pallavi.

Thandel Synopsis

Despite Satya's plea to quit fishing, Thandel Raju and his team of fishermen drift away and enter Pakistani waters during their fishing trip. They decide to get married after that one trip, but Raju and his team are held captive at a Pakistani jail. Bujji Thalli's unwavering love, courage, and strength until the moment of reunion are all about Thandel, dealt beautifully with deep romantic narration, elevated music, and stunning visuals.

Bunny Vasu and Allu Aravind produced the movie under the Geetha Arts banners. Naveen Nooli and Shamdat Sainudeen worked as the film's editors and cinematographers. Karthik Theeda co-wrote the movie with Chandoo Mondeti, the director. Devi Sri Prasad composed the film's entire background score and music.
