Thandel Box Office Collection: Thandel, the latest romantic action thriller in Telugu cinema, premiered on February 7, 2025. Written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film is based on a real-life incident from 2018. Produced by Bunny Vasu under the Geetha Arts banner, Thandel features Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, delivering a gripping mix of romance, drama, and intense action.

According to film industry tracker Ramesh Bala, Thandel has amassed an impressive ₹41.20 crore gross worldwide within just two days of its release. Notably, the film's Day 2 collections surpassed Day 1 in the Telugu states, signaling strong audience traction. With positive word-of-mouth and increasing momentum, Thandel is set for a super strong Day 3, further boosting its box office performance.

Thandel Storyline

Raju, a dedicated fisherman, shares a profound bond with Satya. However, she urges him to leave fishing behind and pursue a different livelihood. Ignoring her worries, Raju ventures out to sea but unknowingly crosses into Pakistani waters, where he is taken captive. The narrative then follows Raju and Satya as they endure a series of emotional and testing moments in their struggle to reunite.

Thandel Cast and Crew

Thandel stars Naga Chaitanya as Raju, also known as "Thandel Raju," and Sai Pallavi as Satya, affectionately called "Bujji Thalli." The film also features Prakash Belawadi as a Pakistani jailer, alongside Divya Pillai, Rao Ramesh, Karunakaran, and Babloo Prithiveeraj in pivotal roles. Kalpa Latha portrays Raju's mother, while Kalyani Natarajan, Parvateesam, Mahesh Achanta, Kishore Raju Vasishta, and Abhinav Singh Raghav, who plays the PA to the External Foreign Minister, complete the ensemble cast.

Written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel is produced by Bunny Vasu, with Bhanu Prathapa and Riyaz Chowdary as co-producers. The film's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography by Shamdat ISC and editing by Navin Nooli. Sri Nagendra Tangala served as the production designer, while Supreme Sundar, V. Venkat, and Vikram Mor choreographed the action sequences. Lyrics were penned by Sreemani and Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao, with sound design by K. Raghunath. Post-production took place at Annapurna Studios, and Aditya Music holds the film's audio rights.
