According to the film's production house, the video garnered over 15 million digital views shortly after it was launched. The teaser had already been anticipated by fans after a brief pre-teaser surfaced a day earlier.

The film is directed and written by Maruthi and marks his first collaboration with Prabhas. It is being produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, with Vivek Kuchibotla serving as co-producer. Scheduled for a theatrical release on December 5, 2025, The Raja Saab blends elements of romantic comedy with horror fantasy-a mix not commonly seen in mainstream Telugu cinema.

The teaser runs under three minutes and introduces viewers to the world of the film without disclosing key plot points. Prabhas plays a dual role in the movie; however, the teaser doesn't visually highlight this aspect in detail. As per reports, the storyline revolves around a man facing financial troubles who seeks to reclaim his ancestral property. Set against the backdrop of an old, possibly haunted house, the narrative appears to lean into eerie and supernatural territory.

Prabhas-Starrer Gears Up For Multilingual Release

The ensemble cast includes Malavika Mohanan-making her debut in Telugu cinema-alongside Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani, and VTV Ganesh.

Production on The Raja Saab began in October 2022. The film underwent several title considerations, including Raja Deluxe, Royal, and Ambassador, before the final title was unveiled during Sankranti celebrations in January 2024.

The crew includes music composer Thaman S, cinematographer Karthik Palani, and editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. Visual effects are being handled by Deccan Dreams, with RC Kamalakannan as the VFX producer. Other key contributors include Rajeevan as the production designer, Ram-Laxman and King Solomon handling action choreography, and SKN serving as the creative producer.

With distribution being managed by B4U Motion Pictures and AA Films, the movie will be released in multiple languages, including dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
