Varanasi To The World X Review: Filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli unveiled the title of his upcoming project, Varanasi, at a large-scale fan event held at Ramoji Film City on Saturday. The event, titled "Globetrotter," featured the presence of lead actors Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. This film marks the first collaboration between Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu, who is playing the role of Rudhra. The movie is slated for a worldwide release in January 2027, coinciding with the festival of Sankranti.

The event reportedly drew a crowd of around 50,000 fans who gathered to witness the title reveal. A teaser for Varanasi was scheduled to play on a massive 130 ft x 100 ft screen but was initially delayed due to a technical issue. Once displayed, the teaser received applause from the attendees.

The teaser concludes with a sequence showing Mahesh Babu riding a bull while holding a trident, dressed in a blood-stained shirt with a Nandi pendant.

The event also introduced the supporting cast, with Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist Kumbha and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in a gun-wielding role as Mandakini.
