Vrusshabha Advance Bookings: With just a day left for its theatrical arrival, Vrusshabha, the upcoming fantasy action drama led by Mohanlal, is drawing early attention at the box office. The film, directed by Nanda Kishore and backed by Connekkt Media and Balaji Motion Pictures in collaboration with Abishek S Vyas Studios, is set for release on December 25, 2025.

Mohanlal s Movie Vrusshabha Advance Bookings

According to box office tracker Jerin Georgekutty, the film's advance bookings have shown a steady start across regions. As per his update on X, Vrusshabha has recorded approximately ₹10.86 lakh in presales from Kerala, while the rest of India has contributed around ₹14.60 lakh. Overseas markets have added about $13,340 (nearly ₹11.95 lakh), pushing the film's worldwide advance booking total to roughly ₹37.41 lakh. These figures indicate a moderate pre-release response as the film heads into the Christmas holiday frame.

Vrusshabha Overview

Vrusshabha marks an ambitious addition to Mohanlal's lineup, presenting him in the role of a king, a first for the actor in a bilingual epic. The makers describe the film as a large-scale narrative built around a father-son relationship tested across two contrasting timelines. The story is said to shift between a historic kingdom and the contemporary world, exploring themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and destiny.

The production team has emphasized that the film combines dramatic storytelling with action sequences, elaborate set pieces, and a significant musical and visual design. The movie has been filmed simultaneously in Telugu and Malayalam, with dubbed versions prepared in Hindi and Kannada, positioning it as a pan-Indian release.

The cast includes Samarjit Lankesh, Nayan Sarika, Ragini Dwivedi, Ajay, and Neha Saxena, among others. The technical lineup features a wide range of contributors: cinematography by Antony Samson, editing by K.M. Prakash, and music composed by Sam CS. Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty, along with Vijay Kumar, has supervised the film's audio design, while action has been choreographed by Peter Hein, Stunt Silva, Ganesh Kumar, and Nikhil.

Production and post-production responsibilities were shared among various departments within Balaji Telefilms, Connekkt Media, and associated studios, reflecting the scale and collaborative nature of the project. Visual effects were handled by Animantra VFX under the supervision of Chetan and Kevin, with colour grading by Andreas Brueckl.

As Vrusshabha heads toward its Christmas release, the film now moves into the crucial final phase of its promotional cycle, with advance bookings likely to see an uptick over the next 24 hours. The movie will be released widely, with Geetha Film Distributors handling the Telugu version's distribution.

The industry will be closely watching how the film performs during the festive weekend, particularly with multiple language versions enabling a broader nationwide reach.
