4 Years Of RRR: Rajamouli Hails NTR’s “Komuram Bheemudo” As Acting Masterclass
As RRR approaches its fourth anniversary on March 25, the film's legacy continues to grow stronger with time. Beyond its spectacle and global acclaim, it is the deeply emotional moments that still resonate with audiences-and none more so than the powerful "Komuram Bheemudo" sequence, elevated by an unforgettable performance from NTR.

Looking back at the impact of the scene, director S. S. Rajamouli had once shared a heartfelt reflection: "Hand on heart, if you ask me if there is one sequence (which is close to my heart), it's Komuram Bheemudo. I would really say there is no other actor on the Indian screen who can do what Tarak did in Komuram Bheemudo - showing pain, showing betrayal, showing subjugation to the motherland but not even batting an eyelid at the oppressor."
He further added, "Not just showing all these emotions but showing all these emotions in one shot, in one frame. That's like an epitome of acting. I think Tarak has achieved what no one can dream of for a very very long time. It may look like a very big statement but as a director when I see what Tarak did for Komuram Bheemudo, it breaks my heart with pride."
Rajamouli's words perfectly echo what viewers experienced when they first witnessed the scene unfold. As Komaram Bheem, NTR didn't just perform-he embodied a storm of emotions, delivering a moment that felt both intimate and monumental. Capturing such a wide emotional spectrum within a single frame, without losing intensity, is a rare accomplishment-and one he executed with remarkable precision.
Over the years, NTR has consistently pushed boundaries as a performer, but "Komuram Bheemudo" remains a defining highlight of his career. It stands as a testament to his emotional depth, discipline, and unwavering commitment to his craft-qualities that continue to set him apart.
As RRR marks four years since its release, sequences like these reaffirm why the film became a worldwide phenomenon and why NTR's performance still sparks admiration across audiences globally.
Up next, the actor will be seen in the highly anticipated NTRXNeel, directed by Prashanth Neel, further heightening expectations for yet another commanding act on screen.
