Akhanda 2 OTT Release Time: The Telugu fantasy action thriller Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, headlined by Nandamuri Balakrishna, is set to make its digital debut shortly. After completing its theatrical run following a December release, the film is now preparing to arrive on OTT, offering viewers an opportunity to watch it online across multiple languages.

Written and directed by Boyapati Sreenu, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam was released in cinemas on December 12, 2025. The film is a sequel to the 2021 release Akhanda and continues the narrative set in the earlier installment. As per the latest update on January 8, the film will begin streaming digitally from January 9.

The film will be available on Netflix, where it is scheduled to stream in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. With the OTT release slated for January 9, the film is expected to become accessible to subscribers starting at midnight.

Set after the events of the first film, the sequel follows a renewed threat to national stability involving a mix of ideological conflict, biological danger, and political interests. As scientists attempt to contain a growing crisis, multiple forces pursue control over powerful tools and belief systems, drawing Akhanda Rudra Sikandar Aghora back into the center of the conflict. The narrative unfolds across multiple locations and intersects with both human and larger ideological confrontations.

Akhanda 2: Thaandavam features Balakrishna in a dual role and includes an ensemble cast comprising Samyuktha Menon, Aadhi Pinisetty, Harshaali Malhotra, Kabir Duhan Singh, Saswata Chatterjee, Ronson Vincent, Sangay Tsheltrim, Sarvadaman D. Banerjee, Viji Chandrasekhar, and Poorna.

On the technical front, the film's music is composed by Thaman S, while cinematography is handled by C Ramprasad and Santoshh D Detakae. Editing duties were carried out by Tammiraju. The film is produced by Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta under the banner 14 Reels Plus and is presented by M. Tejaswini Nandamuri.
