Produced by Sun Pictures, Raaka is one of the most closely followed projects in Indian cinema due to the collaboration between Allu Arjun and Atlee. The film was initially known by the tentative title AA22xA6 before its official title was unveiled in April 2026 alongside a first-look poster.

According to reports, principal photography is expected to continue through the remainder of this year. Once filming is completed, the project is likely to enter an extensive post-production phase. Reports have indicated that the film involves substantial visual effects work, with international studios said to be contributing to the VFX process.
