Distributors Geek Pictures and Shochiku have joined hands with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings to take the Pushpa phenomenon to Japanese cinemas under the title Pushpa Kunrin. The film is slated for a grand release across nearly 250 screens in Japan. Given the warm reception Japanese audiences have shown to major Indian blockbusters in the past, the makers are confident that Pushpa 2: The Rule will strongly resonate with viewers and enjoy a successful theatrical run in the country.
