Dacoit Box Office Collection Day 7: Adivi Sesh And Mrunal Thakur Film Crosses ₹45 Cr Worldwide
Dacoit Box Office Collection: The Telugu-Hindi bilingual film Dacoit: A Love Story, starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, has completed its first week in theatres with a noticeable slowdown in collections after its opening weekend. The action romantic drama, directed by debutant Shaneil Deo, was released on April 10, 2026.

According to box office tracking platform Sacnilk, the film collected ₹1.40 crore net in India on Day 7 (Thursday), bringing its total India net collection to ₹28.45 crore. The India gross stands at ₹33.11 crore. Overseas, the film added ₹0.20 crore on Day 7, taking its total international gross to ₹12.60 crore. With this, the worldwide gross collection has reached ₹45.71 crore by the end of its first week.
The film began its theatrical run with ₹6.55 crore on Day 1, followed by ₹6.85 crore on Saturday and ₹6.40 crore on Sunday. After the weekend, collections dropped to ₹2.70 crore on Monday. Tuesday saw a slight uptick to ₹3 crore, but the trend declined again midweek, with ₹1.55 crore on Wednesday and ₹1.40 crore on Thursday.
Occupancy levels reflected a similar trend. The film recorded 26.4% occupancy on its opening day, which rose to 28.5% on Saturday. However, Sunday saw a dip to 14%, followed by a sharper decline on Monday at 8.5%. While Tuesday showed some recovery with 21% occupancy, the numbers settled at 13.5% on both Wednesday and Thursday.
On Day 7, the Telugu version continued to lead the collections, contributing ₹1.07 crore with 18% occupancy across 1,988 shows. The Hindi version brought in ₹0.33 crore, with 8% occupancy across 1,620 shows.

Produced by Annapurna Studios and backed by Supriya Yarlagadda, the film was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi. It also features Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, and Zayn Marie Khan in key roles.
The narrative centres on Haridas, a convict seeking revenge against his former partner Saraswati after a betrayal that led to his imprisonment. Following his release, he becomes entangled in a series of robberies, with his personal vendetta intersecting with a larger chain of criminal events. The storyline unfolds as his path crosses with Saraswati again, bringing their past into conflict with the present.
The technical team includes cinematography by Danush Bhaskar, music by Bheems Ceciroleo, and editing by Kodati Pavan Kalyan.
With the film entering its second weekend (Day 8, Friday), its performance over the coming days will be important in determining whether it can maintain its run and register further growth at the box office.
