Funky OTT Release: The Telugu film Funky, starring Vishwak Sen and Kayadu Lohar in the lead roles, is preparing for its digital debut nearly a month after its theatrical release. The film, which arrived in cinemas on February 13, 2026, was positioned as a romantic comedy and brought together a cast that also includes Naresh, VTV Ganesh and several supporting actors.

Directed by Anudeep KV, Funky is built around a humorous premise set in the world of filmmaking. The story follows a struggling aspiring filmmaker who is determined to make his first movie but faces constant financial challenges. As he looks for ways to fund the project, he ends up pursuing a romantic relationship with the daughter of a film producer, hoping the connection might help him realise his cinematic ambitions.

The film is directed by Anudeep KV, who also co-wrote the screenplay along with Mohan Sato. The film's technical team includes cinematographer Suresh Sarangam and editor Navin Nooli. Music for the film was composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.

Funky was produced by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya under the banners Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The film was presented by Srikara Studios. Venkat Upputuri served as the co-producer, while Nandipati Murali served as executive producer. The production team also included art director Jonny Shaik and line producer Ch. Rama Krishna Reddy.

Following its theatrical run, the film is now set to reach audiences through streaming. Funky will begin streaming on Netflix from March 13, 2026. Since today is March 12, the film is expected to become available on the platform starting tonight as the date changes. Along with its original Telugu version, the film will also be accessible in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. A Hindi-dubbed version will stream on the platform under the title Mazzaq.

With the OTT release scheduled for March 13, viewers who missed the theatrical run will soon be able to watch the film online. The digital premiere will make the film available to audiences across multiple language markets through the streaming platform.
