Hey Balwanth OTT Release: The Telugu film Hey Balwanth, featuring Suhas, Shivani Nagaram, and Naresh in key roles, arrived in theatres on February 20, 2026. The comedy-drama marks the directorial debut of Gopi Atchara, who has also co-written the film.

Set in Guntur, the film follows Krishna (Suhas), a young man eager to take over his father Rao Balwanth's business, without really knowing what the business is about. At the same time, he falls for Mithra (Shivani Nagaram), an NGO worker with strong values.

His life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers that his father's business is actually a lodge linked to illegal activities. What follows is a mix of awkward situations and complications, as Krishna tries to manage the truth, keep it hidden from Mithra, and deal with his father at the same time. The story unfolds through these moments, blending humour with the challenges he faces.

Apart from the lead trio, the film features a supporting cast that includes Vennela Kishore, Ajay Ghosh, Sudharshan, Harsha Vardhan, and Annapurna. The film is produced by B. Narendra Reddy under the Trishul Visionary Studios banner, with Gopi Atchara handling writing and direction. The technical team includes music composer Vivek Sagar, cinematographer Mahi Reddy Pandugula, and editor Viplav Nyshadam. Production design is by A. Ram Kumaar, while Bharath Gandhi has worked on costumes. The story is credited to Shanmukha Prashanth, with dialogues by Midhun Shankar Reddy.

Post-production work, including DI and sound mixing, was carried out at Annapurna Studios, with Vivek Anand as colorist and Kannan Ganpat handling sound mix. VFX is by Anilkumar Jooluri, and sound design is by Sai Maneendhar Reddy.

Following its theatrical release, Hey Balwanth is now preparing for its digital debut. The film will begin streaming on ZEE5 from March 31, 2026. It will be available not only in Telugu but also in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, making it accessible to a wider audience across regions.

With its transition to the OTT space, the film is expected to reach viewers who may have missed its run in cinemas.
