Karuppu Telugu States Box Office Collection Day 17 Prediction: Suriya's Karuppu continues its theatrical run with steady collections in the Telugu-speaking markets, where the film was released under the title Veerabhadrudu. The fantasy action drama, which hit theatres worldwide on May 15, has maintained a notable presence at the box office even after completing more than two weeks on the big screen.

According to a box office update shared by trade tracker Jerin Georgekutty, Karuppu is expected to cross the ₹35 crore gross mark in the Telugu States by the end of Day 17. According to Jerin Georgekutty's update, the film had accumulated ₹33.99 crore gross in the Telugu States after 16 days.
According to the reported numbers, the film's distributor share stands at approximately ₹16.48 crore. With theatrical rights valued at around ₹7 crore, the film's reported recovery stands at 235.42 percent, with distributor profits estimated at approximately ₹9.48 crore.
Trade tracker Jerin Georgekutty reported that Karuppu added roughly ₹1 crore gross on its third Saturday in the Telugu States, helping sustain momentum during its third weekend.
A closer look at the regional breakdown shows Telangana contributing ₹17.33 crore to the overall total, while Andhra Pradesh accounts for ₹16.66 crore. The language-wise split indicates that the Telugu version remains the primary driver of collections, generating ₹32.35 crore gross. Meanwhile, the Tamil version collected around ₹1.64 crore in the Telugu States.

Directed by RJ Balaji, Karuppu blends fantasy and courtroom drama elements. The story revolves around a guardian deity who assumes the identity of a lawyer and confronts corruption within the judicial system while attempting to secure justice for a young girl in need of a liver transplant.
