Karuppu Telugu States Box Office Collection Day 22: Suriya's Film Nears ₹37 Crore Amid Peddi Run
Karuppu Telugu States Box Office Collection: Karuppu, starring Suriya in the lead role, continues to register collections in the Telugu-speaking markets more than three weeks after its release. The fantasy action drama, which arrived in theatres worldwide on May 15, 2026, has completed 22 days on the big screen, with its Day 23 run currently underway.

According to figures shared by box office tracker Jerin Georgekutty on X on June 6, the film has earned an estimated gross of ₹36.95 crore across the Telugu states. The update indicates that the film continues to draw collections in the Telugu states following the arrival of newer releases, including Peddi.
The reported figures indicate that Karuppu's distributor share stands at approximately ₹17.62 crore. With theatrical rights said to have been valued at around ₹7 crore, the film has reportedly generated a recovery of over 250 percent in the Telugu states. The distributor profit is estimated to be around ₹10.62 crore.
The tracker further noted that the film could finish its run in the ₹37.25 crore to ₹37.50 crore range if the current trend continues over the coming days.
A closer look at the regional breakdown shows Telangana contributing slightly more than Andhra Pradesh. Telangana has reportedly generated ₹18.63 crore, while Andhra Pradesh has added ₹18.32 crore to the overall tally.
Language-wise, the Telugu version has accounted for the majority of the collections. Released under the title Veerabhadrudu in Telugu, the dubbed version has contributed approximately ₹35.31 crore. The Tamil version, meanwhile, has earned around ₹1.64 crore from the Telugu states.

As the family struggles to find justice, a lawyer named Saravanan becomes involved in the case. His efforts to help them uncover broader issues within the legal system lead to a larger confrontation with influential individuals and entrenched interests.
The film features Suriya, Trisha Krishnan and RJ Balaji in key roles, alongside Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maya Ravi and Supreeth Reddy. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the project is backed by producers S. R. Prakash Babu and S. R. Prabhu.
Karuppu's technical team includes cinematographer G. K. Vishnu, editor R. Kalaivanan and music composer Sai Abhyankkar. As the film enters another weekend in theatres, industry observers will be watching to see whether it can move closer to the projected ₹37.5 crore mark in the Telugu states.
