Karuppu (Veerabhadrudu) Telugu States Box Office Collection Day 12: Suriya Film Grosses ₹30 Cr In AP/Telangana
Karuppu (Veerabhadrudu) Telugu States Box Office Collection: The Telugu-dubbed version of Karuppu, released under the title Veerabhadrudu, has continued its theatrical run with stable collections across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Starring Suriya in the lead role, the fantasy action drama completed 12 days in theatres on May 27. The film's combined Telugu states gross, including both the Telugu and Tamil versions, has reportedly crossed ₹30 crore.

According to a box office update shared by trade tracker Jerin Georgekutty on X, the film has earned approximately ₹30.01 crore gross from the Telugu states in its first 12 days. The distributor share is said to be around ₹14.79 crore, while the theatrical rights for the region were reportedly valued at ₹7 crore.
Based on the reported figures, the film has moved well beyond the breakeven stage in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The update further mentioned that the film's recovery rate stands at around 211 percent, with an estimated distributor profit of nearly ₹7.79 crore after 12 days of theatrical run.
The trade update also described the film's second Tuesday hold as strong, with collections of approximately ₹1.09 crore gross in the Telugu states.
Among the regional markets, Telangana has emerged as the stronger territory so far, contributing an estimated ₹15.46 crore gross. Andhra Pradesh follows closely with around ₹14.55 crore gross collections. In terms of language split, the Telugu version has contributed the bulk of the earnings with approximately ₹28.41 crore gross, while the Tamil version screening in the same territories has added nearly ₹1.60 crore.
Karuppu Story, Cast And Crew Details
Directed by RJ Balaji, the film combines fantasy elements with a courtroom-based narrative. The story centres on a guardian deity who disguises himself as a lawyer in order to expose corruption within a legal system linked to the exploitation of a young girl in need of a liver transplant.
Apart from Suriya, the film features RJ Balaji, Trisha Krishnan, Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada and Supreeth Reddy in important roles. The screenplay was written by RJ Balaji along with Rathna Kumar, Ashwin Ravichandran, Rahul Raj, T. S. Gopi Krishnan and Karan Aravind Kumar.
The project has been produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. Sai Abhyankkar composed the music, while cinematography was handled by G. K. Vishnu and editing by R. Kalaivanan.
With the film now nearing the end of its second week in theatres, attention will shift towards its weekday hold and upcoming weekend performance in the Telugu states.
