Maa Inti Bangaaram Box Office Collection Day 5: Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Film Crosses ₹51 Crore Worldwide

Maa Inti Bangaaram Box Office Collection Day 5: Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Maa Inti Bangaaram continued its theatrical run on Tuesday, June 23, with its Day 5 collections adding to its first-week total at the box office. The action-comedy drama, which opened in cinemas on June 19, has now moved past the ₹50 crore mark globally, while Day 6 collections are currently in progress on Wednesday, June 24.

Directed by B. V. Nandini Reddy, Maa Inti Bangaaram features Samantha in the lead role and is backed by Tralala Moving Pictures. The film follows an ex-assassin who is trying to settle into a traditional family setup while keeping her past hidden. When people from her former life return and threaten her new family, she is forced back into action.

Maa Inti Bangaaram box office report after Day 5

According to box office tracking site Sacnilk, Maa Inti Bangaaram collected an estimated ₹3.50 crore net in India on Day 5. With this, the film's total India net collection has gone up to ₹30.70 crore in five days. Its India gross stands at ₹35.47 crore so far.

The film also added ₹1.25 crore from overseas markets on Day 5, taking its international gross to ₹15.85 crore. As a result, the worldwide gross collection has reached ₹51.32 crore at the end of Day 5.

The first weekend played a major role in pushing the film's numbers. It opened with ₹5.35 crore on Friday, followed by a jump to ₹7.65 crore on Saturday and a stronger ₹10.10 crore on Sunday. As expected, collections saw a drop once the working week began, with the film earning ₹4.10 crore on Monday and ₹3.50 crore on Tuesday.

Day 5 language-wise performance

The Telugu version continued to contribute the bulk of the business on Day 5. Of the film's ₹3.50 crore India net on Tuesday, ₹3.35 crore came from Telugu markets, while the Tamil version contributed ₹0.15 crore. The Telugu version recorded around 29 percent occupancy across 2,187 shows, while the Tamil version registered 14 percent occupancy from 578 shows.

Maa Inti Bangaaram: Cast and crew

Samantha Ruth Prabhu leads the cast as Swarna / Jhansi, with Gulshan Devaiah playing Karuna and Diganth Manchale appearing as Dr. Anirudh "Ani", Swarna's husband. The supporting cast includes Gautami, Sreemukhi, Chaitanya Krishna, Manjusha Mukkavilli, Anand, Sri Lakshmi and Srinivas Gavireddy. Vennela Kishore also appears in a cameo.

The film's music has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan, while Om Prakash has handled cinematography and Dharmendra Kakarala is credited as editor. The story and screenplay credits include Raj Nidimoru and Vasanth Maringanti, with additional screenplay by Prahas Boppudi.

With Day 6 collections currently underway, the next key question for Maa Inti Bangaaram will be whether it can maintain momentum through the weekdays before heading into its second weekend.
