Peddi Box Office Collection Day 1: Ram Charan's Film Earns ₹51 Cr India Net, Crosses ₹112 Cr Worldwide Gross

Peddi Box Office Collection Day 1: Peddi, the Telugu sports action drama starring Ram Charan in the lead role, has registered a strong start at the box office following its theatrical release on June 4, 2026. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film opened across multiple languages and recorded significant collections on its first full day in theatres.

According to box office tracking platform Sacnilk, Peddi collected an estimated ₹51 crore net in India on Day 1 from more than 12,400 shows nationwide. Including the paid premiere screenings held a day earlier, the film's total India net collection has reached ₹69.50 crore.

The film's performance was largely driven by the Telugu version, which contributed the overwhelming share of the opening-day earnings. The Telugu version reportedly earned ₹47.20 crore net, while the Hindi version added ₹3 crore. The Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam versions contributed smaller amounts to the overall tally.

Peddi recorded an overall occupancy of around 45.5 percent on Thursday. The Telugu version witnessed the highest audience turnout, posting an occupancy of approximately 68 percent across nearly 7,000 shows. In comparison, occupancy figures for the Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam versions remained considerably lower.

Beyond India, Peddi also posted notable numbers in overseas markets. The film has reportedly collected around ₹30 crore in overseas gross receipts. Combined with its domestic performance, the movie's worldwide gross collection has reached approximately ₹112.49 crore, including premiere screenings and Day 1 collections.

Sacnilk reports that the premiere shows, held on June 3, brought in around ₹18.50 crore net in India. When combined with the Day 1 collections, the film's domestic gross collection stands at approximately ₹82.49 crore.

Peddi Cast and Crew

Peddi features an ensemble cast that includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu and Boman Irani alongside Ram Charan. The project has been produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, with Ishan Saksena serving as co-producer. The film is presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.

The technical crew includes Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman, cinematographer R. Rathnavelu, editor Navin Nooli and production designer Avinash Kolla.

With Day 2 collections currently in progress on June 5, trade observers will be watching closely to see whether Peddi can maintain its momentum through its opening weekend and further strengthen its box office position.
